304 stainless steel sheets

300 series stainless steels typically contain chromium (Cr) and nickel (Ni) as their main alloying elements, contributing to their corrosion resistance and stability. The 300 series stainless steel’s most common grades are 304, 304L, 316, 316L, and 321. Type 304 stainless steel is the most widely used alloy of all stainless steels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Are you a factory, manufacturer or trader?

A1. Foshan TOPSON Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. is a professional stainless steel factory with nearly 15 years of experience in stainless steel production. All our goods are dispatched directly from the TOPSON mill.

Q2. How can you ensure the quality of your product?

A2. Our stainless steel sheets and coils have to go through TWO/THREE checks in the manufacturing process, including production, cutting sheets (If requested) and packing.

Q3. There are a lot of 300 series; which is the best for you?

A3. 304 (UNS S30400) offers excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and high weldability. It is commonly used in applications such as food processing, kitchen equipment, architectural components, and chemical processing. 316 (UNS S31600) is known for its superior corrosion resistance in chloride environments. It has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. It is commonly used in marine applications, pharmaceuticals, chemical processing, and medical equipment.

321 (UNS S32100) contains titanium, which stabilizes the alloy against chromium carbide precipitation during welding and high-temperature exposure. It is often used in high-temperature applications, such as heat exchangers and aircraft exhaust systems. 310 (UNS S31000) has high-temperature oxidation resistance and excellent resistance to sulfidation and carburization. It is commonly used in furnace components, heat treatment equipment, and other high-temperature applications.

316L (UNS S31603) is a low-carbon version of Grade 316. It is widely used in applications where welding is required and where corrosion resistance is critical, such as chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and marine equipment.
